Yes. The jacket uses BÆR-Tex DWR water-repellent coating across the outer shell, combined with fully taped and sealed seams. Water beads and rolls off rather than soaking through. The silicone-bonded zip pockets add another layer of protection for your valuables. It is built for sustained rain, not just a light drizzle.
The bonded fleece inner lining keeps you warm through cold Australian mornings, alpine hikes and wet winter days. The double-thick woven outer shell blocks wind completely. Underarm ventilation zips allow you to regulate your temperature during high-output activities so you stay comfortable from the inside out.
Machine wash on a gentle cold cycle. Do not use fabric softener as this can reduce the DWR coating effectiveness. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. To restore the water-repellent coating after many washes, a low-heat tumble dry cycle for 20 minutes will reactivate the DWR treatment.
