Does it work on heavy rust or only surface rust?
It works effectively on light to moderate rust. For heavy, flaking rust with significant material loss, remove loose rust mechanically first (wire brush or scraper) to expose the active rust beneath, then apply the spray. The converter works on the active iron oxide — if rust is so deep that structural metal is gone, that area needs replacement, not treatment.
Can I paint over it immediately after treatment?
Yes. Once the treatment has dried and converted (typically 2–4 hours depending on rust severity and temperature), the surface is ready to prime and paint. The converted coating acts as a primer base. For best results, apply a compatible primer before topcoat if painting over large areas.
Is it safe to use on my car's bodywork?
Yes, on rusty metal surfaces. Avoid spraying on existing paint, rubber seals, plastic trim and glass — mask these areas before application. The formula is specifically designed for ferrous metal surfaces and is safe for automotive use when applied correctly. Follow the instructions included with the can.
How long does the rust protection last?
The converted coating provides a stable, rust-inhibiting barrier that significantly slows re-oxidation. For long-term protection, painting over the treated area is recommended. In exposed outdoor environments (undercarriage, wheel arches), a topcoat of underseal or chassis paint over the treated surface provides multi-year protection.

Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 24 hours. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may be processed on the next business day. During busy or promotional periods, processing may take longer.
Delivery time and costs
We currently deliver within Australia. Standard shipping is free and the estimated transit time after dispatch is 8–14 business days. Processing time and transit time are separate. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by carrier delays, severe weather, public holidays or other circumstances outside our control.
We do not currently offer international shipping. Customs duties and import charges therefore do not normally apply to orders delivered within Australia.
Tracking
When your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active.
Incorrect delivery address
Please check your delivery details before completing your order. If you notice an error, email info.lubeko@gmail.com as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been processed or dispatched. Additional carrier charges caused by an incorrect address may be passed on to the customer where appropriate.
Delayed or missing parcels
If tracking has not updated for several business days or your parcel is overdue, contact us with your order number. We will review the tracking information and, where necessary, open an investigation with the carrier. Please also check that the delivery address is correct and ask household members or neighbours whether they accepted the parcel.
