How warm is it exactly?
The Torva Utility Vest is rated for temperatures between 5°C and 15°C with a mid-layer underneath. In those conditions, the torso stays warm and the arms remain free for activity. Below 5°C it works best with a heavier base layer or under a shell. Above 15°C it will be too warm for most people during active movement — it excels in cool shoulder-season conditions where a full jacket feels excessive.
Is it suitable for hiking with a backpack?
Yes. The articulated cut allows full shoulder and arm movement and the vest does not bunch or ride up under a backpack. The chest and internal pockets remain accessible with a pack harness on. The packable design means it stows into the pack easily if conditions warm during the day. Many customers use the Torva specifically as a hiking layer when they want warmth without a full jacket.
Can I wash it in the machine?
Yes. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. The synthetic fill dries faster than down and maintains its loft after washing without clumping. No dry cleaning required. Many customers wash their Torva vest weekly without any degradation in fill, fabric performance or zipper function.
What is the difference between the men's and women's cut?
The women's cut has a more fitted waist, shorter torso and slightly repositioned pockets for a better fit on a female body shape. Both share the same pocket count, insulation fill, shell fabric and YKK zippers. The men's cut runs straighter through the torso. Both versions have been cut to allow layering over mid-weight hoodies or fleeces.
Does it fit over a hoodie?
Yes. The Torva is cut to layer comfortably over a standard hoodie or medium-weight fleece. If you tend to layer heavily, size up one. If you wear slim-fitting base layers, your standard size will fit well. The zip closure and side seams have enough room to accommodate a mid-layer without pulling or restricting movement across the shoulders.

Processing time
Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 24 hours. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays may be processed on the next business day. During busy or promotional periods, processing may take longer.
Delivery time and costs
We currently deliver within Australia. Standard shipping is free and the estimated transit time after dispatch is 8–14 business days. Processing time and transit time are separate. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by carrier delays, severe weather, public holidays or other circumstances outside our control.
We do not currently offer international shipping. Customs duties and import charges therefore do not normally apply to orders delivered within Australia.
Tracking
When your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to become active.
Incorrect delivery address
Please check your delivery details before completing your order. If you notice an error, email info.lubeko@gmail.com as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has been processed or dispatched. Additional carrier charges caused by an incorrect address may be passed on to the customer where appropriate.
Delayed or missing parcels
If tracking has not updated for several business days or your parcel is overdue, contact us with your order number. We will review the tracking information and, where necessary, open an investigation with the carrier. Please also check that the delivery address is correct and ask household members or neighbours whether they accepted the parcel.
