No grass. No outdoor space. No problem. The Hover Soccer Ball glides on any hard floor and glows in the dark — turning any living room, hallway or garage into an instant football pitch for kids who need to move.
- ✔Air-cushion hover technology — built-in fan creates an air cushion beneath the ball, letting it glide frictionlessly across any smooth hard floor — tiles, timber, laminate, or polished concrete
- ✔LED glow lights — the ball lights up in multiple changing colours as it moves; dramatically increases the excitement at night and in lower-light indoor conditions
- ✔Soft flexible bumper — the outer bumper is made from soft foam that protects walls, furniture and skirting boards when the ball collides with them; designed to bounce harmlessly off surfaces
- ✔Safe for all ages — no sharp edges, non-toxic materials, and a size and weight that is completely safe for children as young as 3; the hover mechanism means no painful collision with furniture
- ✔Rechargeable via USB — charges in under an hour via USB; no ongoing battery costs and always ready for the next game without hunting for AA batteries
- ✔Goal posts included — fold-flat mini goal posts clip together for an instant pitch setup; pack away in seconds after the game
- ✔Develops coordination and activity — the unpredictable hover glide means children have to track, react and adjust; genuine physical activity that doesn’t require a screen
What age is it suitable for?
Suitable for children aged 3 and up. The soft bumper, rounded shape and safe materials mean younger children can play without risk. Older children and teenagers enjoy the competitive game element more, particularly with the goal posts. Adults regularly play alongside their children — the Hover Soccer Ball is genuinely fun for all ages.
Will it scratch or damage our floors?
No. The hover mechanism means the ball floats on a cushion of air and never makes direct hard contact with the floor surface. The base does not drag or scrape. 95% of customers confirmed zero floor damage after extended indoor use on timber, tiles and laminate. The soft bumper also protects walls and furniture from marks.
Does it work on carpet?
No. The hover technology requires a smooth, hard surface to work. Short-pile rugs and carpet prevent the air cushion from forming. The ball works on tiles, timber floors, laminate, vinyl and polished concrete. Most homes have sufficient hard floor area to set up a game — kitchens, hallways, garages and hard-floor living rooms all work perfectly.
How long does the battery last on a charge?
Approximately 30–40 minutes of continuous play on a full charge. The USB charging time is under an hour, so a quick top-up between sessions keeps the game going. Many parents charge it while children eat dinner so it’s ready for evening play. The LED lights are active during play and switch off when the ball is stationary.
Is it a good gift?
One of our most gifted products for birthdays and Christmas. The Hover Soccer Ball arrives in colourful presentation packaging with goal posts included — ready to play immediately out of the box. It is particularly popular as a gift for children who are sports-mad but live in apartments or homes without a garden.
